Responsible for regulated field trials of advanced stage of elite event selection
Responsible for hybrid trialing activities for rice GMO programs (e.g. Bt rice) at a Central India location
with full regulatory and biosafety compliance
• Deliver excellent quality trials with a good agronomy in order to fulfill the expectations of the
global project plan.
• Participate for seed production, if needed for selected events as per plan Participate in planning
the trials and the resources required. Ensure that results are obtained on time on target, even
when parameters and requirements change at short notice
• Take responsibility to establish quality management system at the trial location(s)
Support to entomology for insect collection for studies and data collection for development of IRM
strategy
Comply with a complex set of regulations and achieve confinement through strict compliance on
procedures written under SOPs/WIs
Responsible for correct and secure data collection and data reporting in the database in the correct
format and within the given timeline
To support establishing good relations with the local regulatory bodies

• MSc /PhD in Agronomy/Agriculture/Plant Breeding/Genetics
• Computer skills for data reporting and data analysis
• Accurate, sense of detail, reliable work, strives toward high quality results.
• Proficiency in English for technical communication.
• Committed to deliver results, even when working under time pressure, and with changes at short
notice
