Responsibilities:
- Establishment and validation of cell-based and biochemical-based assays, screening of compounds/ingredients, and data management
- Establishment of other chemical/physical/or biochemical methods, as needed, to assess product performance
- Independent design of experiments to bring innovative methods and ideas upon establishment of standard assays and methods
- Laboratory management (ordering chemicals, maintaining inventories/equipments, etc.)

Requirements:
M.Sc/M. Tech in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Cell Biology/Biochemistry, with strong technical background, and 1-3 years experience (industry experience in a multi-disciplinary setting preferred but not essential). Technical background should include, hand-on experience in conducting in vitro biological assays and screening, including, biochemical assays (e.g. enzyme inhibition, ELISA) and cell based assays (mammalian, microbiological). Knowledge of laboratory operations and capability to independently set up/manage lab operations is essential. Flair to learn and adapt to new assay technologies in biology and chemistry, and new work processes, will be a key to success in this role
