JOB DESCRIPTION
1) Should have good experience in plant breeding.
1) Should be conducting multilocation field trials.
2) Experience in corn breeding is preferred.
2) Willing to travel and work with rural folks.
3) Proficiency with database applications, spreadsheet software, experimental design, and statistics are required.
1) PhD in Plant Breeding and Genetics or related field with 3 - 5 years plant breeding experience.
2) Should have a strong background in plant breeding, genetics or agronomy background, field plot technique and statistical analysis.
3) Excellent leadership and people skills, with effective verbal communication, and ability to thrive in a team based work environment.
4) Commitment to foster a safe working environment.
5) Should be result oriented, innovative, and have proven leadership and organizational ability.
