• Manage antibody generation, perform antibody testing and purification.
• Perform cloning, expression and purification of recombinant proteins.
• Identify protein complexes and purify them using various approaches.
• Develop and perform methodologies in isolating RNA.
• Handle all routine shipping issues.
• Anticipate and plan future needs for the group and keep constantly updated on the projects.
• MSc degree in any stream of life sciences (eg. Biochemistry, Biotechnology) with 1-2 years research and development experience.
• Experience in Nucleic acid extraction, amplification, cloning and expression is a must.
• Experience in antibody technology like antigen design, antibody purification and testing is critical.
• Knowledge in protein and protein complex purification is required.
• Knowledge in hybridoma technology is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Should be a good team player as the work involves interaction with researchers from different countries and cultures.
